About Andrew Ridgeon

Andrew is a former musician, DJ and owner of a successful nationwide express carrier company. In 1990 he retired from his high pressure lifestyle of 20 plus years. 

On a whim he turned to writing in 2016. His first book, Julius Pam: Beyond Reason, to his surprise, was placed at number 3 in the MSN chart of Best Rock Biographies in June 2022. 

His second book, When the Cuckoo Cries, a novel, is to be released in February 2026.

Born, raised and lived in Suffolk all his life, surrounded by his family, wildlife and cats, he has been settled in the same village for the past 47 years.

As he has said on many occasions, ‘I have no great expectations as an author,’ preferred to just enjoy the experience of writing.
